Editorial no. 2 08/12/2004 Aerzen USA, with it offices in Valley, believes it can protect its profits and Mother Nature, and it wants to prove it with a planned new plant in Sadsbury. The company, the United States division of a German manufacturer of industrial blowers and compressors, plans to spend $2.5 million on a 40,000- to 50,000-square-foot building in the Meetinghouse Business Park. The firm wants to design a plant that relies heavily on natural sunlight and cool breezes for its lighting and ventilation needs. It hopes to recycle its own water and build a parking lot that allows water to seep through and back into the ground. Aerzen company officials, architects and other contractors are scheduled to present their plans and answer questions in a five-day charrette that will begin on Monday and take place at the Coatesville Moose Lodge at 1200 Airport Road in Valley. Were sure there are many Chester County companies that could learn something from Aerzen and we urge them to send representatives to the public portion of Aerzens presentation, which begins at 4 p.m. on Monday.
